As Freud wrote, no individual aspect of human behaviour is accidental; if it is not physical it therefore has to be psychological and in this case it is his mind development, or mal-programming of his mind, which controls his behaviour. Your discussions with your therapist, and any notes are confidential and will not be disclosed to any other person without your consent. However your therapist is required to disclose information by a court of law, or in order to protect you or another person from significant harm. Regular supervision forms part of continued professional developments, and as such cases may be discussed between therapists- but your identity will never be revealed during these sessions. Information held about you within our records are covered by the Data Protection Act 1998 and will never be disclosed to third parties.
